Senior Manager, SAAS Revenue Accounting

Core Requirements And Responsibilities Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
Manage the close and report process for the
Revenue Accounting team , including monthly reconciliations and other analyses
Using results to recommend and implement changes to business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Key point person for internal and external audit on related areas
Partner with FP&A to develop revenue forecasts
Provide variance explanations for monthly reporting
Lead system implementations to automate processes
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge and experience with software and/or SaaS-based or subscription revenue recognition under ASC606 preferred
A background in understanding internal controls and operational effectiveness
Ability to manage revenue-related month-end close activities, including but not limited to: prepare and review journal entries, reconcile between different systems, prepare and review account reconciliations, perform recurring and ad hoc analyses
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams from around the company
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting required
CPA required
Minimum 7 years’ work experience, including managerial experience
Public accounting experience is a plus
NetSuite and Salesforce experience a plus
