Director of Operations

A privately held, metal fabrication and manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Operations to manage all plant and distribution operations for this $60 million company. The company engineers product designs, then fabricates steel and aluminum and does minor assembly. The company is seeking a well-seasoned plant operations expert that can drive plant improvements, work with new product development teams, and improve on-time deliveries and quality metrics on a consistent basis. The Director of Operations will work with other members of the senior management team on process and productivity KPI’s, working within financial budgets and setting operations strategy. Must-haves include: metal fabrication expertise, plant management experience, Lean initiative roll-out experience, and overall experience in planning and execution and operations strategy development. The company is offering a competitive six-figure salary, bonus, and the individual will participate in the management equity pool. The individual must live in the vicinity of the plant or relocate.
