Director of Event Technology at Pyramid Global Hospitality. Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day AV functions at the Forum, including management of the team assignments and responsibilities Coordinate with vendors to ensure optimum performance of AV equipment and processes Assist Events staff to define and prepare AV needs/requirements for all events and coordinate live audio and video Support multimedia, audiovisual, and videoconferencing or VTC event operations Provide excellent customer service, including communication with end users in person and via video conference Assist end users with setup for conferences and ensure equipment is operable Monitor daily audio visual conference room schedules Provide presentation support including handling slides and supporting capture, editing, publishing, and upload of final webcast and approved media Setup, operate, support, break down and transport AV equipment Make quick, informed decisions and resolve technical issues during live production, cable, and internet streaming of events Inspect and maintain functionality/appearance of conference and board rooms for quality assurance Identify IT and network related issues and request IT support as needed Collaborate with organizational policy makers to establish and enforce proper AV practices and procedures Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or the equivalent experience Technical certification in related network and end-user operating systems desired Minimum 5+ years of experience with various computer technologies, including advanced knowledge of AV in a corporate or event environment 2+ years of management experience preferred Extensive knowledge of various AV equipment, services and platforms, with ability to train and lead the AV crew Experience in Conference Center/Hotel or related environment Experience with web streaming hardware and platforms for webcasting Thorough understanding of web conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Blue Jeans, Webex) Experience with Extron and/or Crestron AV and Lighting control systems Programming and troubleshooting installed AV control systems, patch bays, AV matrix switchers and routers Compensation
The compensation for this position is $100,000.00/Yr. - $125,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience. Additional Details
