We are seeking an experienced IT Director specializing in Data Governance to lead enterprise-wide strategies that ensure data is effectively managed, secure, and leveraged for strategic insights. Partnering closely with senior leadership, this role will establish and enforce policies, standards, and practices that uphold data quality, compliance, and transparency - supporting informed decision-making and sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align governance initiatives with organizational objectives and measurable outcomes. Oversee the integration of governance principles into enterprise data architecture, including metadata management, lineage tracking, and modeling standards. Manage cross-functional teams to deliver governance-driven technology solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Serve as the primary advocate for data governance best practices, driving adoption and accountability across the organization. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or related field preferred. 7+ years of experience in IT leadership with a proven track record in enterprise data governance, management, or related disciplines. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and implementing large-scale governance initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives. Relevant certifications such as
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
