Director of Corrosion Services
Location: Houston, TX Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for operations, leadership, guidance, and management of the CP Construction department, with potential to add additional Corrosion Services, Operations and Maintenance departments Responsible for the CP Construction department’s Budget / Profit and Loss targets, with potential to add additional Corrosion Services, Operations and Maintenance departments Responsible for implementing strategic growth and development initiatives Responsible for client interface / communication Responsible for company HSE program compliance Responsible for meeting client expectations Responsible for client invoicing Responsible for employee recruitment Works closely with Legal to ensure all departmental state licensing needs are met Works closely with Quality Group to ensure all departmental training, certifications, operator qualifications, procedures, and reporting expectations are met Works closely with Fleet Manager to ensure all departmental DOT and company fleet requirements are met Maintain Key Performance Indicators for CP Construction department, with potential to add additional Corrosion Services, Operations and Maintenance departments Assists with strategic account management May assist Project Management Other duties as assigned Experience and Skill Requirements
Approximately 10+ years of experience - Strong, hands‑on, technical expertise in the corrosion industry, in operations and project management. Has worked on the field service side of the corrosion industry. Maintains strong, professional relationships in the industry, and an up‑to‑date, keen awareness of other related projects. Previous budget / P&L responsibility. Previous experience managing personnel. Will need to be able to demonstrate a work and project history involving corrosion‑related/ focused work. Will require a very high level of communication with both office and client and field related project personnel, so the ability to build and maintain quality, working relationships is essential. Operational, marketing, business development / sales experience are a definite plus, but not a substitute for the core value set of having hands‑on management experience.
