Position Overview As a Sales Executive with LoopNet you will partner with top owners and brokers to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies for their property portfolios. You will build long‑lasting, service‑focused relationships, advise on product frequency, reach, brand efficacy, and ROI using proprietary analytic tools. The role is on‑site in the CoStar Group office in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with clients through consultative sales methods to drive advertising revenue and serve as a trusted advisor on marketing strategy.
Prospect new clients using CoStar’s property data to generate new business and close sales.
Collaborate with LoopNet and CoStar teams to drive revenue.
Develop subject‑matter expertise in digital advertising strategies, commercial real estate, and market trends within your territory.
Provide exceptional customer service, delivering regular, value‑added communication, market insights, and solutions that help clients achieve goals.
Conduct in‑person meetings; frequent travel by car is required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university.
4+ years of successful full‑cycle sales and account management experience in a B2B environment selling CRE, digital advertising, marketing solutions, AdTech, PropTech, FinTech, financial securities, business intelligence, or data & analytics.
Demonstrated commitment to prior employers and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory completion of a driving record/abstract check.
Preferred Qualifications
Success in building long‑term relationships and business partnerships with senior/C‑Suite level clients.
Ability to analyze data, build reporting, and make strategic recommendations based on market data and performance metrics.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations in a high‑growth company.
Self‑starter who works independently within a team environment.
Regular and consistent access to an operational motor vehicle prior to or by start date.
