Commercial Lines Account Manager

Our client, a well-established, family-owned insurance agency with a legacy in South Jersey, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated insurance professional to take ownership of a commercial lines portfolio while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse commercial lines book, including general liability, commercial property, business auto, workers’ compensation, and umbrella policies
Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing guidance on coverage, risk management, and policy structure
Handle renewals, endorsements, and day‑to‑day servicing of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
Work closely with carriers to resolve issues, obtain quotes, and ensure accurate, timely issuance of policies
Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients
Collaborate with internal teams, including producers and support staff, to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system and track critical deadlines for renewals and compliance
Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional products and services to existing clients
Qualifications
Active NJ Property & Casualty license required
2+ years of experience in commercial lines account management
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
Proficiency with insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
