Nest DC is on the lookout for a Part-Time Property Walkthrough Specialist to join our field team this season. We need sharp eyes, high standards, and a good set of wheels. In this role, you'll visit properties of all shapes and sizesstudio apartments, sprawling single-family homes, and everything in between. You'll conduct thorough property walkthroughs using
ChatGPT as your assistant , follow specific guidance from our team, take quality photos on your own smartphone (we'll offer a small stipend for that), and help us document what's needed to get these properties up to
Nest DC-level standards : clean, fresh, safe, move-in ready, and welcoming. We'll train you, but we're especially excited about candidates with a background in the trades, construction, property management, or facilitiessomeone who understands what needs fixing and what needs finessing. You'll need to be comfortable working solo in the field, but also able to collaborate with our (awesome) in-house team. Requirements:
Your own vehicle (non-negotiablewe'll offer a vehicle use stipend) A smartphone to take and upload photos Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends on occasion Familiarity with DC neighborhoods and property standards (or the eagerness to learn quickly!) Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for what makes a space "resident-ready" Comfortable working independently, following digital instructions, and keeping track of keys (yes, key management matters!)
