Business Analyst - Specialist IV Remote 6 months (Possibility for Extension)

The Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Procurement team delivers sourcing, negotiation, and contract management services with third-party suppliers to drive value creation for stakeholders and the organization.

You will be working on contracts supporting the company split, ensuring business continuity and alignment with WBD's strategic procurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze market/category trends and historical spend data to identify supplier consolidation and re-negotiation opportunities.

Lead global contract negotiations and coordinate with legal counsel and stakeholders.

Interpret and apply business and legal rationale behind contract provisions, serving as a liaison between contracting entities, legal teams, and internal business units.

Develop and implement category strategies that optimize sourcing outcomes through competitive bidding, negotiations, or process enhancements.

Gather and synthesize business requirements and external market data to create comprehensive category strategies with risk mitigation plans.

Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines and goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Apply project management best practices to deliver measurable sourcing and operational efficiencies.

Collaborate across teams to implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and operational excellence.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in large-scale corporate procurement or global organizations.

Familiarity with supplier management tools and contract management systems.

Education / Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field preferred.

Professional certifications in Procurement/Supply Chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) a plus but not required.
