Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. Examples of Duties

Essential Functions

Quickly clear dirty tables and prepare tables for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed. Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including service ware, linen and condiments. Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning. Respond to cues and act quickly and appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guests’ needs to correct server immediately Communicate with server/host(ess) to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service Use 4Core when communicating with all guests Clean-as-you-go mentality Supportive Functions

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions. Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard property cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards. Folding napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply, restocking condiments, etc. Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, or special guest requests and cross-training, to ensure total guest satisfaction. Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquires from customers. Ability to comprehend written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processed within the property. Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 pounds through a crowded room. Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 pounds. Qualifications

Education and Experience : Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Grooming : All associates must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance (specific standards available). FLSA Designation : nonexempt Other : Upon employment all associates are required to comply with the standards, rules and regulations which may be established by the Company and updated from time to time. Associates who violate property rules or have irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. The Hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules, weekends, holidays and overtime to reflect the business needs of the property. Associates may also be required to attend group and/or department meetings in addition to the work shift as necessary. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
