Duncan-Parnell is looking for a Print Production Associate to join our Signs & Graphics team in North Charleston, SC. This role is a critical position supporting both operations and customers in our Signs & Graphics division. The ideal candidate possesses print production experience, is detail-oriented, and has the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team setting.
Job Summary The Print Production Associate is responsible for traditional reprographic services that include printing and binding construction documents, maintaining our online plan room, reproducing digital and physical copies of documents, and providing stellar customer service for company customers regularly via emails, phone calls and in person.
Essential Duties
Operate and maintain large and small format copiers, printers, and scanners
Monitor email regularly for customer orders, online uploads, and company information
Create orders and quotes for customers when requested
Answer incoming calls to the department
Provide timely and accurate information about customer’s order status, pricing, quotes, jobs kept on file, jobs on the DP Plan Room and other general questions
Learn and use computer programs (HP Smartstream, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, P21)
Maintain and update online file storage
Scan and email files
Set up, process, number, monitor and maintain online jobs for the company plan room
Set up drawings to make printable by using scaling, cropping and other necessary adjustments
Set up, print, and bind spec books
Laminate small format media
Monitor department supplies and notify manager when supply orders need to be placed
Assist walk-in customers when needed
General billing, quoting and payment processing
Assist other departments such as Customer Service and Shipping/Receiving as needed
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent
Possess professional, positive, and efficient attitude to serve customers and help co-workers
Proficient in basic computer skills
Print production experience a plus
