Inside Sales Representative (ISR) – Salt Lake City, UT

Job Summary Supports sales & operations of the branches by responding to customer inquiries and concerns and resolving complaints, generating sales documents, and ensuring effective communication among customers, branches, and outside sales representatives. This safety‑sensitive role requires compliance with drug/alcohol policies and adherence to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to all customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.

Generate and distribute sales operations documents (invoicing, contracts, pick lists, packing lists, returns) to respective departments.

Guide, assist, and elevate complaint resolution to ensure customers are properly served.

Provide customers and other branches with requested data and backup data.

Follow up regularly with customers, branches, and shop/yard operations on open and unresolved issues.

Report all out-of-line conditions affecting customer satisfaction.

Answer after‑hours calls for security and customers and document complaints for resolution.

Open and/or close operations facilities in certain branches.

Perform other duties as requested.

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Quick learner with attention to detail and adaptability.

Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Emotional intelligence and collaboration.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Infor, and Salesforce CRM.

Understanding of operational processes, including deliveries/pickups in the rental industry.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of inside sales experience, preferably in construction equipment or underground safety rental industry.

Reliable transportation.
