Overview
AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance, fosters a productive team, and ensures exceptional customer service. Managers and MITs play a key leadership role, expected to live The Pledge and deliver WOW! Customer Service while executing store operations with excellence.
Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing high-performing employees, fostering a motivated and engaged team.
Maintain clear, effective interactions with both customers and employees, ensuring smooth store operations and positive experiences.
Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive business success.
Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink, and ensure operational efficiency.
Work collaboratively with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.
Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, always upholding company policies.
Qualifications
Demonstrates integrity, decision-making skills, and strong leadership abilities.
Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence).
