Base pay range: $84,700.00 per year - $115,500.00 per year.

Overview The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive – Specialty leverages targeted geographic analysis and engages with physician offices to influence key decision makers to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The role focuses on increasing orders, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenue.

Responsibilities

Manage a sales territory that includes CenterWell, a Humana‑owned brand offering Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services.

Build relationships with front‑ and back‑office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory.

Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of specialty pharmacy medications.

Become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefit.

Required Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments.

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.

Comfortable working in the field 5 days/week within territory lines; occasional overnight travel as needed.

Must live within the defined sales territory or willing to relocate at own expense.

Attendance at off‑site team meetings, which could require flights and overnight travel.

Part of Humana's Fleet Driver safety program; must possess a company fleet vehicle and a valid state driver's license.

Driving record evaluated as part of a third‑party background check; certain infractions may affect eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting or exceeding goals.

Self‑motivation.

Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make effective business decisions.

Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tool.

Bachelor’s degree – or equivalent experience.

Specialty pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred.

Work At Home Requirements

Employees must provide internet service meeting minimum speeds: download 25 Mbps, upload 10 Mbps.

Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection recommended.

Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections only if approved by leadership.

Employees living in CA, IL, MT, or SD receive a bi‑weekly payment for internet expense.

Humana will provide telephone equipment appropriate to position requirements.

Work from a dedicated space free from interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

Travel While this position is remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 hours per week.

Pay Range Base pay: $84,700 – $115,500 per year. Eligible for a commission incentive plan based on performance.
