About the Position We are looking for a
Residential Care Associate I
to join our team at Autumn Ridge RTH in Milwaukie, Oregon. The role involves providing caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients, fostering independence and daily living skills. Responsibilities include meal preparation, cleaning, food purchasing, medication administration under RN guidance, transportation to appointments, and documentation of services. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit; wages, benefits, and working conditions comply with the collective bargaining agreement.
Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited program, you will earn CEUs toward mental health certifications while receiving paid training and qualified clinical supervision.
Work Schedule Sunday through Tuesday, 10:30 pm – 7:00 am (part‑time, night shift).
Pay 20.60 – 21.86 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $3.00 per hour night shift differential applies for 10:00 pm – 6:00 am hours. An additional 5% language differential is offered to bilingual or multilingual candidates.
What You’ll Need
Preferred caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional).
A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident, helping them with activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs).
Driving is an essential function; a valid driver’s licence from your state of residence is required, or you must obtain one within 30 days of hire. You must maintain a safe driving record and pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Demands: The role requires frequent talking, listening, use of hands and fingers, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying up to
40 pounds . You may also need to use ladders, squat or kneel, and perform crisis de‑escalation and CPR training, which involve lifting and transferring clients.
