Aurex Flight Factory Assembly Technician

As an Assembly Technician on this team, you will ensure a quality product through robust assembly, test operations, and deburr tasks. You will be part of a successful team working in a hands-on fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate selected for this position will support our aerospace customers hardware needs with a combination of wiring assembly, mechanical assembly, and deburr skills. This position reports directly to the Assembly/ Deburr Supervisor. Skills/Experience
To qualify for this role, we require candidates to have the following: 2+ years of applicable experience. Understanding of the principles, concepts, and methods of harness assembly, mechanical assembly, deburr, and testing operations in an aerospace environment. Must be proficient using common inspection equipment - calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gage, multimeter, torque wrenches, etc. Knowledge of quality control methodologies and documentation processes. Ability to consistently execute assembly and deburr processes while maintaining 5S standards. Installation of hardware, such as helicoils, rivets, bushings, etc. Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Maintains an environment of trust, accountability, and teamwork. Ability to effectively communicate with Management, Engineering, Quality, and Technicians. In addition, we are most interested in candidates who have: Specialized training and experience, and/or an Associate degree from a technical school. Experience with laser marking, soldering, high voltage testing, and deburr tooling. Experience in root cause and corrective action techniques. Sound judgment, high energy, and creative. Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering schematics. Vacuum pump/oven and vacuum bonding operations and procedures. Knowledge of and experience in MIL-spec and AS9100 practices. IPC-J-STD-001H Certification with Space addendum. IPC/WHMA-A-620E Certification with Space addendum. The salary range for this role is $20.19 to $27.88 per hour. Compensation is determined by the candidate's work experience, education, training, and relevant skills.
