Job Overview This role is critical for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of fire suppression systems within commercial kitchens. Key responsibilities include installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre‑engineered kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
Responsibilities
Inspect and install fire extinguishers, fire protection equipment, and exit/emergency lighting.
Inspect, service, and install kitchen hood suppression systems.
Test and repair existing fire suppression systems.
Perform inspections to ensure proper installation of fire suppression systems.
Complete inspection reports and document any issues.
Present products to customers and highlight advantages over competitors.
Process work orders and complete all paperwork per standardized procedures.
Core Competencies / Qualifications
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Good organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, and time‑management skills.
Action‑oriented, flexible, and customer‑focused style.
Ability to work a full‑time schedule.
Physical Requirements & Exposures
Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to push or pull more than 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 12 ft.
Successful completion of employment background screening and MVR.
Compensation Potential total compensation for the first year: $45,000 to $75,000, with the possibility for high performers to earn more.
