Russell Tobin’s client is hiring an Import & Freight Administrator in Pinellas Park, FL. Employment type: Contract. Location: Hybrid – 3 days in office (training will be onsite). Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8am‑4:30pm. Pay rate: $26‑28/hr. Responsibilities
Review duty invoices for accuracy and approve for payment. Provide detailed entry summaries to third‑party brokerage firms for computed value. Perform reconciliation processes related to import duties. Provide monthly detailed entry summaries to Finance for duty cross‑charging to corporate headquarters. Coordinate year‑end deliveries to meet working capital objectives of the parent company and Transitions business. Provide required documentation to auditors on a quarterly basis. Act as backup support for other team roles as needed. Adhere to regulatory requirements for entry documentation and electronic record retention. Ensure supplying facilities comply with U.S. Customs requirements as outlined in the CTPAT program. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the ACE Portal (U.S. Customs software). Coordinate with the parent company on the scope of compliance activities performed on behalf of Transitions. Requirements
3–5 years of experience in U.S. import and logistics. Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations. Experience with international freight management. Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Benefits
