Account Manager | Legal, Accounting, Office Administration - Professional Services Recruiting Early-career HR Generalist supporting core human resources operations and employee support across the full employee lifecycle. This role assists with hiring and onboarding, benefits and leave administration, HR compliance, and performance management processes. Ideal for a recent graduate or someone newer to HR who is eager to learn in a hands‑on, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, and procedures; elevate issues as appropriate

Support recruiting activities including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and onboarding coordination

Coordinate onboarding activities such as paperwork tracking, I-9 support, background checks, and orientation scheduling

Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, including job, status, and pay changes with appropriate documentation

Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment activities, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations

Support leave management and accommodation processes (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation) in coordination with HR leadership and vendors

Assist with employee relations administration, including documentation, meeting coordination, and follow‑up tracking

Support performance management cycles through tracking, reminders, documentation collection, and reporting

Assist with HR compliance activities including file audits, required postings, and training or policy acknowledgment tracking

Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

0–3 years of relevant experience (internships, co‑ops, or administrative experience accepted)

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and reliable follow‑through

Clear written and verbal communication with a professional, service‑oriented approach

Comfort using HR systems (HRIS/HCM) and standard office tools (Excel, Word, email)

Willingness to learn HR compliance fundamentals and employment law basics

SHRM-CP certification required within 18 months of hire (exam and approved preparation materials covered)
