Fully onsite position based out of our Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA office.
About the Role The Debt & Equity Production Analyst will perform financial analysis and other analytical work to support transaction management and mortgage banking services provided to companies of all sizes. The Analyst will assist clients in optimizing their real estate strategies by developing comprehensive financial models, conducting research, and performing analysis related to the underwriting and origination of commercial mortgages.
In this role, you will
Develop and produce a financing package including underwriting pro-forma and cash flow models
Analyze financial transaction information including operating statements and net worth statements to determine appropriate loan size, terms, and pricing
Prepare high quality marketing materials for deal offering memorandums including writing executive summaries and market analysis
Evaluate economic and research real estate market data
Review various reports including appraisals, environmental documentation, and engineering reports to determine compliance with investor requirements
Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures related to program revisions and guideline changes
Effectively communicate with capital providers and maintain database
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area
1-3 years’ experience in Commercial real estate, capital markets or corporate finance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Advanced proficiency in Argus
Experience developing cash flow models and in-depth financial analysis
Ability to marshal resources – people, funding, material and support – to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal
Compensation & Benefits Approximate salary range for this role: $68,640 – $70,000 USD. Candidates may earn performance-based bonuses for generating new business leads that convert to revenue.
