Responsibilities
Develop and execute forward‑thinking tax strategies that optimize outcomes for complex family and business structures.
Lead the review and signing of intricate individual, trust, partnership, foundation, and corporate returns, ensuring technical precision and a concierge‑level experience.
Coordinate multi‑entity engagements (parents, children, trusts, and related entities) to deliver integrated solutions and seamless service.
Analyze and interpret complex transactions, communicating technical findings and actionable recommendations to clients and internal teams in a clear, strategic manner.
Partner with financial advisors and planning specialists to provide holistic wealth management strategies.
Engage with taxing authorities to resolve client issues and ensure compliance.
Contribute to firm‑wide innovation, refining processes, elevating standards, and driving continuous improvement in our tax strategy practice.
Mentor and inspire others, fostering technical excellence and growth within the team.
Represent Savant externally, presenting tax concepts to clients, advisors, and centers of influence at events, workshops, and thought‑leadership forums.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)
Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation (required)
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification (required)
10+ years of comprehensive tax and financial planning experience serving high‑net‑worth clients
Demonstrated success in client‑facing tax advisory roles
Proficiency or familiarity with:
Thomson Reuters UltraTax, GoFileRoom, Practice CS
Tax planning software such as BNA, Planner CS, or Holistiplan
Online and print tax research resources
Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills
A collaborative, team‑first mindset and a commitment to client excellence
Master’s in Taxation (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits The expected base salary range for this role nationally is
$127,500 - $186,000 . Final base pay will be determined based on responsibilities, skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. This role may also be eligible for additional forms of compensation and benefits.
