About the Role At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll play a critical role by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals while living in our group home in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Position Details
Part-time:
Every other weekend, including Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm (24 hours).
Location:
Roanoke Rapids, NC, with regular local community travel.
Compensation:
$15.00 per hour.
Your Role In Our Mission
Provide care in the home of each individual and the community they live in.
Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, personal care (bathing, dressing), and employment support.
Transport clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
Help plan and organize clients’ schedules.
Maintain daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record.

Proficiency with EHR systems or a willingness to learn.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
