Responsibilities As a vital member of our engineering team, your day will be filled with meaningful challenges and impactful work. You might start by diving into detailed analysis and design of critical structures and components. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure designs meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements, such as seismic and environmental standards. Later, you could evaluate proposed plant modifications, ensuring that every change upholds safety and compliance. Your afternoon might involve preparing in‑depth technical reports, design calculations, and specifications, all while effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders. Every task you tackle contributes directly to the safety, reliability, and innovation of our client facilities. You will also need to:

Collaborate across disciplines and ensure smooth coordination and integration of designs

Lead design initiatives by developing innovative study, crafting project scopes, and producing accurate engineering estimates

Innovate solutions for complex technical challenges with creative problem‑solving strategies

Engage in field operations, including travel, site walk‑downs, overseeing field installations, and supporting system start‑ups

Inspire teams by leading by example, motivating them to achieve ambitious goals with a positive, results‑driven attitude and effective leadership

Qualifications This posting covers a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for our mid‑level position are shown below:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university

Minimum three years of experience designing civil structural systems

Experience in one of the following industries highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), and government (DOE) projects

Good writing, presentation, and communication skills

Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams

Proficiency in Word and Excel

Senior Engineers typically have seven years of post‑graduate experience in a related role

Principal Engineers typically have ten years of post‑graduate experience in a related role

Pay Range USD $90,000.00 - USD $177,450.00 /Yr.

Salary Range Information

If a salary range is listed, it reflects the typical range for this full‑time position based on the role, level, and location. Individual compensation within the range will be determined by factors such as work location, relevant experience, job‑related skills, and education or training.

Eligibility to Work

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship.

Ability to pass a pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.
