RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST
Join K2 Medical Research as a Recruitment Specialist to support our clinic in The Villages, FL.
Patient Recruiters must be able to support onsite operations at our Maitland (Orlando) clinic Mondays through Thursdays (10 hrs per day). They are responsible for recruiting patients for all studies and administering prescreening surveys to identify eligible patients, as well as scheduling screening visits for currently enrolling and upcoming studies. Recruiters build and develop the site’s database by identifying and implementing new methods for patient recruitment, contacting new potential patients, and maintaining contact with all patients in the database.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruit for multiple studies by contacting referrals generated by our marketing/outreach efforts.
Identify patients from our internal database who may qualify for new trials.
Assist in identifying studies patients may qualify for and schedule them for an initial visit at one of our facilities.
Keep an updated tracker with all scheduled patients and visit outcomes.
Follow up with patients as necessary.
Thoroughly understand all assigned studies through reading protocols, resource materials, and attending trainings.
Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to support onsite out of our Maitland (Orlando) clinic Mondays through Thursdays four (4) weeks.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to complete training and follow study protocol.
Flexibility and ability to prioritize and multi‑task throughout the day.
Detail oriented, and self‑motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to interact with a diverse patient population.
ficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Minimum associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Sales experience preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in a customer‑service–related position, preferably in a medical or health‑provider environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
