Job Description
Serve as a member of the Oracle ERP systems support team, handling daily analytics requirements and reporting for business users, as well as providing new solutions and enhancements to existing business systems. Regularly collaborate with business users and the internal IT team to prioritize and complete assignments aligned with business goals.
This role primarily involves supporting existing systems but also includes collaborative project work with various IT teams for new system implementations. Documenting business requirements and processes, then configuring or extending Oracle eBusiness and related systems platforms to deliver top‑tier systematic solutions, is essential for both support and new projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Develop reports and dashboards using ERP reporting tools, such as OTBI
Ensure data quality, security, and privacy through data validation and access controls
Develop and maintain workflows, automation, and data integrations using platform‑specific tools and APIs
Customize and integrate third‑party applications and services into existing solutions
Create and maintain end‑user procedures and documentation, and train business users as necessary in new solution rollouts
Keep an up‑to‑date catalog of all reports, queries, and positions that utilize the reports
Minimum Qualifications
BS/BA in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Information Technology as a business analyst or similar role
Minimum 5 years Oracle eBusiness Applications Experience, with relevant R12 module experience to support business functions in the area of responsibilities
Proficient background knowledge of development languages utilized
Oracle Analytics Cloud
Oracle Application Framework
Oracle SQL Plus and/or PL/SQL
Knowledge of the Oracle distribution and financial applications suite of products:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Order Management
Projects and/or Grants Module
Purchasing
Order to Cash
Procure to Pay
Ability to handle multiple assignments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Experience with IT technologies and business processes for a manufacturing company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to interact professionally and in business language with all levels of business leaders and subject matter experts
Knowledge of IT policies and procedures, and compliance regulations
