Job Summary: The Global Mobility Specialist provides assignment advisory and support to the Global Mobility Manager, associates, managers and HR business partners on all global mobility matters. The Specialist works with the Global Mobility Manager, and other internal parties and external vendors to provide support on assignment‑related compliance issues (i.e., new location, country requirements, tax, legal or employment issues, etc.). Additionally, the Specialist manages the outsourced assignment services firm and recommends solutions for escalated issues or exception requests.
Basic Duties And Responsibilities
Assist with the coordination of a mobility portfolio of 250+ associates (i.e., pool of transferees (U.S. Domestic and International), commuters, expatriates and frequent business travelers)
Assist with the administration and interpretation of Sysco’s Global Mobility policies, processes and procedures
Prepare assignment cost projections
Provide support to manage outside vendor portfolios
Help to maintain trackers, request and prepare ad hoc reports and help to combine cost reports and invoicing procedures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Build competency with compliance practices in Mobility, such as legislative, regulatory, industry standards, and other known relevant policies and guidelines, and collaborate/support Legal on immigration compliance issues
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for Mobility and Immigration matters.
Coordinate and support U.S. immigration processes with law department counsel
Provide additional support to HRBPs to help coordinate effective onboarding/offboarding for all international hires and expatriates
Support/coordination of country‑specific payroll actions in support of Sysco’s international shadow payroll
Assist and support associates in relocation transition with Sysco’s RMC team
Global Mobility is the Single Point of Accountability for U.S. expatriates, to seek and research support for Aetna, Legal, Immigration, Payroll, etc.
Collaborate with and oversee multiple vendors to ensure ongoing, quality support for associates (tax equalization program tracking; immigration tracking and support)
Provide prompt resolution of issues and proactive responses to associates and business partners
Assist with routine exception management
Assist with invoice management process, tracking and reporting
Creatively develop, coordinate or assist with a variety of Global Mobility initiatives, such as preparing Proformas, assignment letters, and liaise with transferees/new hires and other vendors

Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or Equivalent Experience
0–3 years’ experience working for a company with a global mindset

Ability to work, coordinate, and prioritize multiple activities while maintaining excellent customer service.
