Lead Teaching Pastor - West Madison Bible Church
West Madison Bible Church, an independent congregation, is looking for a full‑time Lead Pastor to guide our church’s growth, lead evangelistic outreach, and shepherd the congregation for the long term.
Responsibilities
Preach the inerrancy and authority of the Word of God from the Bible every Sunday.
Provide pastoral care, including visiting the sick and visiting shut‑ins, and counseling those in need.
Oversee ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, and baptisms.
Actively participate in evangelistic outreach to the local community.
Develop and mentor leadership within the church.
Be actively involved with the church leadership and staff.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of ministry experience, including preaching in a congregational setting.
Bachelor’s degree from a conservative Bible college.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Passion for equipping believers and evangelizing the lost.
Active prayer life and deep desire for continual growth in God’s Word.
Basic working knowledge of current technology.
