Job Overview We are looking for a Sheet Metal Technician to polish, deburr, size and finish aerospace metals. The role involves maintaining dimensional integrity, inspecting finishes, and following safety procedures.
Responsibilities
Polish, deburr, size and finish aerospace metals (aluminum, stainless steel, cobalt, nickel alloys) to exact specifications.
Create flawless surface finishes, removing scratches, burrs and imperfections while maintaining dimensional integrity.
Work with a variety of hand and power tools, especially hand grinders.
Follow work instructions and complete required quality paperwork.
Inspect surface finishes and dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height stands and visual inspection tools.
Keep work area clean and organized and follow all safety procedures.
Collaborate with a team to build quality products.
Experience & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship and a safety-first mindset.
