Rehabilitation Specialist, Residential - Frederick, MD (Full-time, Dayshift)
Residential Rehabilitation Program
(RRP) services are designed for individuals with serious mental illness who have difficulty maintaining housing. Our team helps individuals obtain housing, employment, mental health services, and more.
This is a direct care opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will
provide a safe and therapeutic environment
that encourages the overall independence and well‑being of your clients.
Responsibilities
Act as a residential counselor, working one‑on‑one with clients to learn or regain skills for successful community and independent living and socialization.
Ensure medication compliance, including safety, dosage, and cleanliness.
Collaborate with service team to develop and implement individual service plans.
Provide transportation and attend clients’ medical appointments, advocate during appointments, and document follow‑up instructions.
Develop rapport with clients, becoming part of their trusted support system.
Participate in training and receive mentorship from senior staff.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Willingness to obtain additional certifications and trainings as required.
Driver’s license with no more than three points and access to an insured vehicle.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
