Position Summary The
Executive Chef
is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu development, food quality, costs control, and sanitation/operational standards. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance creativity with operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute seasonal menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and brand
Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure quality and consistency
Manage food and labor costs to meet budget goals
Hire, train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff
Maintain all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Collaborate with ownership/management on pricing, events, and long‑term planning
Qualifications
5+ years of professional kitchen experience, including leadership at the Chef or Sous Chef level
Proven experience managing food costs and kitchen budgets
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
