Assist in ordering and merchandising the department to maximize sales. May assist in writing the weekly department schedule. Identify and address high priority activities first. Communicate clear expectations for assignments. Delegate responsibility to appropriate partners. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain operating effectiveness and ensure all federal, state, and company regulations for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met. Maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control. Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales. Experience and Education Preferred
Typically requires 5-8 years experience. Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment. Extensive knowledge of specialty food products is essential. Strong customer service skills. Passion for food. Materials handling equipment certification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work in extreme temperatures. Previous retail/restaurant experience required. Physical and Other Requirements
Must be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time
