KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Culinary Skills:
Prepare all food items based on standardized recipes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Attention to Detail:
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas at all times.
Time Management:
Complete necessary food and station preparations efficiently to ensure prompt service during operating hours.
Communication Skills:
Convey information and ideas clearly, and work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Problem-Solving:
Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately to address kitchen challenges.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen.
High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Food Handlers Certification as required by state regulations.
