What You’ll Do
As a member of the clinical team, the Rehabilitation Specialist assesses, plans, and implements services for consumers with serious mental illness. The role coordinates and monitors rehabilitation‑related services, partners with vocational rehabilitation counselors, community providers, and other stakeholders, and documents progress toward recovery.
What You’ll Provide
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED and 4 years of full‑time behavioral health experience, or meet BHT requirements.
At least two years of experience in behavioral health, preferably with vocational/employment and/or rehabilitation services for adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness in an interdisciplinary clinical team environment.
Experience working with community agencies/providers in employment, VR, education, self‑help, peer support, and other areas is preferred.
Understanding and application of best practices in psychiatric rehabilitation.
Adequate computer and typing skills are required; experience with Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word is preferred.
Valid Arizona driver’s license with no major infractions in the past three years; regular access to reliable transportation is required.
Bi‑lingual (Spanish) preferred.
At least 21 years of age at the time of employment.
