CKV is seeking a passionate and creative Activities Leader to design and deliver meaningful activities that enrich the daily lives of our residents. In this role you will help create a life infused with quality and purpose while working within a welcoming workplace rooted in Christian values.
Job Description
Lead events, activities and programming that stimulate interest, enhance skills and talents, and promote a culture of full life engagement tailored to each resident.
Provide opportunities to address all aspects of wellness: physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual.
Promote a sense of community, support inclusivity, and encourage residents to engage.
Find creative ways to engage all residents, persistently engaging reluctant individuals.
Maintain excellent customer service in all interactions with residents, teammates, volunteers, families, vendors and others.
Offer flexibility, problem‑solving ability and a spirit of teamwork in all aspects of job performance.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Previous experience working with older adults is preferred.
Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Dependability, punctuality, creativity, flexibility and patience.
Benefits Part‑time, benefits‑eligible position: 60 hours every two weeks (usually 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with occasional evening shifts and holiday rotation). CKV offers a positive work environment, comprehensive training, excellent dining, community events, and more.
