V2X is seeking a logistics professional to provide specialized administrative support to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Property Management Division (SIOP) Total Asset Management (TAM) effort involving all NGA Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E). The position is located at NGA Campus East located at Fort Belvoir North Area (FBNA), Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for performing logistics life cycle management support activities for all asset classes, including Information Technology (IT) hardware, IT systems and software (e.g., supply chain management, inventory management, auditable accountable records management, contract property administration, government property disposal, and asset management).
Monitor and manage NGA property accountability programs in accordance with Department of Defense, NGA and other authoritative guidance, including: DoDI 5000.64, NGAM 4160.1, applicable FAR/DFAR/NARI clauses, and NGA SOPs and User Guides.
Provide technical property accountability expertise supporting the TAM Program and monitor property accountability programs, providing cost analyses, status reports and recommendations for decisions.
Administer Asset Record Operations and Maintenance, support resolution of NGA’s PP&E corrective action plan, and manage the Asset Record Due-In process (Create, Reconcile, Report, Close).
Track asset receipts and due-in processing within five working days of receipt, maintain comprehensive audit trails (nomenclature, quantity, price, acceptance status).
Request, collect, and prepare Capitalized Asset Packages; support NGAs displaced locations globally with receiving, inventory, and disposal actions.
Create Change Requests (CRQ) in PeopleSoft, “My Program” per PMO Request; conduct IT Hardware Research and Due-In Reconciliation; create valuation packages for audit remediation.
Maintain asset records in the PeopleSoft TAM System; facilitate asset transfers as requested; assist in reporting and metrics preparation.
Maintain accountable property records and supporting documentation suitable for audit; provide technical expertise for TAM Asset Record Reporting and Reconciliation.
Perform data maintenance and reconciliation of asset records and related financial information; prepare PeopleSoft TAM System reports; administer Asset Delivery Report processing (Assign, Load, Reconcile, Close).
Reconcile PeopleSoft TAM asset records with NGA’s Configuration Management tool Service+; monitor corrective action status, develop test plans and procedures to assess design and effectiveness of business processes and controls.
Track all government property with the PeopleSoft property system; perform budget and cost analysis in support of SIOP operations; review contracts with Government Furnished Property to reflect proper property clauses IRT FAR 52.245-1, DFAR, and NARI clauses.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High school diploma or GED.
Required Experience: Current TS/SCI clearance. 7-10 Years’ experience in logistical operations and/or supply-chain management. Experience in Government property management.
Desired Education/Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) and NGA. Customer service experience in federal and/or intelligence community. Experience working with the PeopleSoft enterprise management application.
Skills & Technology Used: Proficient with PC platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and customer service skills.
Work Environment The work is typically performed in an office environment and at client site locations; proper safety precautions are required.
