This role is based in Asheville, NC at 645 Patton Ave. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location, with a base range of $19.00/hr – $26.00/hr, plus possible premiums of $0.35 to $3.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, communicating and developing interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and Point of Sale systems.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, elevate associate engagement using handheld technology, make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training, adapt to new tools and encourage others.
Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers, process transactions; maintain inventory audit, safety, and compliance standards; report TBC complaints, safety hazards, and product/service issues; complete paperwork, logs, documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, stored per company policies; identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions, resolve issues.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate, valuing the member experience in the TBC area, modeling high quality service and products; influencing and inspiring others; supporting a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented culture; assisting in training; complying with policies and ethics standards.
Act with Integrity: Maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance; model Walmart values; support a regenerative company; act selflessly, humbly, honestly, fairly and transparently.
