Company Description CareFlite is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ambulance service sponsored by Baylor Scott & White Health, JPS Health Network, Methodist Health System, Parkland, and Texas Health Resources. CareFlite provides medical transport by helicopter, ground ambulance, and non‑medical transport via wheelchair van.

Position Overview The Regional Business Development Specialist builds and maintains strong partnerships within an assigned territory by engaging with hospitals, EMS agencies, fire departments, county officials, and other key partners. This role promotes CareFlite’s services, identifies opportunities for increased collaboration, and ensures customer needs are met across air, ground, and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who excels in relationship building, communication, and independent work.
Key Responsibilities
Build and sustain connections with healthcare systems, EMS providers, county leadership, and community partners.
Identify service opportunities and work with internal teams to support operational alignment.
Represent CareFlite at meetings, regional conferences, and other stakeholder events.
Track outreach activity, customer interactions, and territory metrics using Salesforce.
Gather and share customer feedback to support service enhancements and data‑driven initiatives.
Support outreach, recognition programs, community engagement efforts, and CareFlite‑sponsored events.
Assist with planning and participation in conferences, symposiums, recognition events/programs, and other educational or promotional events.
Qualifications Required:
Proven track record of driving results in EMS, healthcare business development, or strategic outreach, with the ability to build customer relationships, advance organizational goals, and deliver measurable impact.
Strong relationship‑management and communication skills.
Proficiency in the use of Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the designated territory, and various business stations/offices.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail for extended periods.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business administration, emergency management, or related field.
Experience in sales or client engagement roles.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

Flexible Schedule: Salaried position with variable hours based on business needs; occasional evenings or weekends for events and outreach.
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel within the assigned territory, including customer sites, regional meetings, and community events; ability to transport materials (up to 25 lbs.).
Work Environment: Combination of office, healthcare facilities, public spaces, and outdoor venues; must navigate varying conditions such as uneven surfaces, temperatures, and noise levels.
