Our client is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join their team. As a Benefits Specialist, you will be part of the Contact Management Section supporting members regarding their benefits. The ideal candidate will take ownership for each member interaction, can anticipate our members' needs and exceed their expectations, and views change as an essential function of growth.

What's the Job?
Research, answer, and resolve complicated questions and problems relating to client's benefit programs and retirement programs
Thoroughly explain available benefit programs, options, eligibility requirements, and application deadlines to participating employers and members
Monitor and update changes to health insurance benefits, including changing health insurance enrollments or payment sources, assisting employers with benefit adjustments and adjusting employers' monthly payments as needed
Ensure that State and Local government employees and retirees have the insurance coverages they need when they need them, and that retirees' monthly payments are made timely and accurately
Meet deadlines with attention to detail
What's Needed?
Previous call center experience would be helpful
