Schedule Sunday: 10a – 5p Monday – Thursday: 8a – 5p

Compensation $17.50–$19.00/hr (dependent on experience)

Job Description Position is in‑office located in Augusta, Maine. We look for someone with a demonstrable customer‑centric attitude and professional demeanor. Must be proficient in MS Office suite – Outlook, Word, and especially Excel in a SharePoint environment.

Position Purpose A Customer Service Associate at Performance Foodservice is vital to the success of our Company. As part of the sales support team, this position is the first point of contact for all customers that have questions about their order, our products or about Performance Foodservice. They act as a liaison between the customer and the Sales Account Representative as well as internal departments. They are a member of the Customer Service team that functions within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

Attend training and Customer Service meetings

Process orders & transactions

Answer questions about products and services

Troubleshoot and resolve problems

Support Sales in all aspects

Provide information to other departments based on customer feedback

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

6–12 months customer service, call center, and/or related area

Customer‑centric attitude with professional demeanor

Proficient in MS Office suite – Outlook, Word, and especially Excel in a SharePoint environment

Preferred Qualifications

1–2 years customer service, call center, and/or related area within foodservice industry

Must be able to work in office
