Key Responsibilities
Order, receive and track parts and materials required for collision repairs.
Coordinate with body shop estimators, technicians, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts.
Inspect incoming parts for accuracy, damage, and quality; manage returns and credits efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory records using dealership management systems.
Assist in managing parts storage, ensuring a clean and organized parts department.
Support repair order processes by tagging and delivering parts to technicians.
Handle sublet orders and vendor communications as needed.
Contribute to minimizing parts returns and optimizing department efficiency.
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive parts (dealership or collision center preferred; Toyota experience a plus).
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, catalog systems, and inventory management.
Proficiency with computer systems and parts catalog software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with technicians, estimators, and vendors.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certifications a bonus.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
