The Benefits Analyst II works under minimum supervision, administering day‑to‑day operations of group benefit programs (group health, dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, health savings plan, 401(k) plan, and other voluntary benefits).
Schedule:
Hybrid, one day a week on‑site

What You Will Do
Main contact with vendor relationships with benefits brokers. Work with broker to develop and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
Analyze benefits data, including cost, utilization, and employee feedback, to make recommendations for program improvements.
Review comparison of the organization’s benefits programs against industry standards to ensure competitiveness.
Monitor the cost‑effectiveness of benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive yet sustainable.
Work with the broker to ensure that all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local laws, such as ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and other relevant regulations.
Conduct internal audits of benefits programs to identify and mitigate potential risk.
Assist with managing employee benefit and wellness programs to include roll out of benefits to employees.
Assist with 401(k) plan, including Plan Administrator duties and ongoing compliance, reporting, and filing requirements.
Lead or participate in projects related to the implementation of new benefits programs or changes to existing ones.
Assist with response to escalated benefit inquiries, assess employees’ needs and advise employees appropriately, and provide timely resolution options.
Assist with developing, implementing, and delivering training, marketing, and/or educational tools to communicate and educate employees on benefit policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
Mentor and guide total rewards analysts and other HR team members.
Lead RFP Process as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Have
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
Minimum three years’ experience in a Benefits Administration role, administering policies relating to benefits (group health/dental/vision, group life, employee assistance plans, disability, 401(k), workers’ compensation, education plans, performance management, flex spending arrangements and employee assistance programs), payroll and pay practices, time‑off policies, FMLA, etc. for in‑state and multi‑state employees.
Strong attention to detail is required.
Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
Corporate business experience in related function preferred.
Must pass pre‑employment background investigations.
