We’re looking for an engaging, service‑driven

DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR

who will lead our dining room team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily dining room operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and welcoming meal service.

Support, train, and motivate dining room team members to deliver outstanding customer service.

Create a warm, respectful, and engaging dining atmosphere for independent living seniors.

Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure accurate service, presentation, and resident satisfaction.

Set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality during every meal.

Maintain the professional, neat, and clean appearance of the dining room and private dining areas.

Uphold and enforce team member appearance standards.

Perform dining room server duties in their absence.

Check the accuracy of the daily menu; report any issues to the Food & Beverage Director.

Present food in a timely fashion and attractively garnished.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the dining room and all service and storage areas.

Perform weekly quality‑assurance self‑inspection of the dining room and related service areas.

In coordination with the Food & Beverage Director, maintain dining room schedules.

Ensure resident service in the dining room is of a high level.

Develop relationships with residents and respond to their dining issues immediately.

Attend resident council and food committee meetings to address resident suggestions and complaints.

Conduct mandatory monthly training and provide daily/shift coaching.

Conduct progressive discipline for team members as needed.

Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and inform the Director of any needed supplies.

Ensure all potential meal revenues are billed appropriately.

Perform any additional duties requested by the Food & Beverage Director.

Ideal Candidate

Has prior experience in dining, hospitality, or food service leadership.

Leads with positivity, patience, and a service‑first mindset.

Thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Brings reliability, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Similar experience preferable.

Ability to work in a team environment with flexible shifts.

Full knowledge of local and state health, sanitation, and safety codes.

Ability to operate all kitchen equipment associated with the dining room operation.

Ability to train, mentor, and develop team members.

Professional attitude; excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Strong communication and listening skills.

Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Background, criminal, and drug tests may be required; random drug testing during employment possible.
