As a member of the NERC Compliance Group, you will conduct governance and oversight of PSEG’s compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards. The role reports to the Newark General Office, with an in‑person requirement of at least eight days per month. Job Responsibilities
Provide guidance and oversight to lines of business responsible for compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards on the interpretation of the Standards. Work with lines of business on investigations of potential non‑compliances with the NERC Reliability Standards. Assist lines of business with drafting self‑reports and mitigating activities to be submitted to ReliabilityFirst for reportable NERC potential non‑compliances. Prepare for and participate in NERC compliance engagements, collecting and analyzing evidence and other documentation. Support the development of presentations on NERC compliance issues to senior management. Support PSEG's advocacy within the industry on the development of NERC Reliability Standards. Perform other relevant tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Job Specific Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Compliance, Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent experience, or alternative experience of 10 years. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Planning and organizing skills, including time management and prioritization. Ability to work both in a team environment and as an individual contributor. Strong attention to detail, results‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables concurrently. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Strong project management skills. Knowledge of the NERC Reliability Standards. Desired
Credentialed certification of NERC compliance knowledge. Utility transmission and distribution experience. EEO Statement
