Client Engagement Specialist
Keys to Change Campus is dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, holistic community that empowers people to end homelessness and create positive, long‑term changes. Your work will matter, your voice will be heard, and together we will transform lives and strengthen communities.
Base Pay Range $18.00/hr – $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
Provide accurate and comprehensive information to clients.
Maintain a welcoming and positive attitude toward all clients and staff.
Participate in mandatory trainings, weekly meetings, and keep a clean, organized work area.
Enforce all employee and campus policies and procedures.
Effectively engage with clients in conjunction with Housing Navigators, case managers and Behavioral Health Technicians to assist with document collection and resource navigation.
Update resources regularly to ensure accurate information distribution.
Apply critical thinking to find quick solutions to individual cases of homelessness.
Assist clients assigned to case managers with document collection and uploading into the HMIS system.
Scan and read important HMIS alerts for client information.
Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of 1‑year relevant employment experience preferred. Knowledge of homeless resources and the ability to work with individuals with diverse needs is required.
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, work as a team player, multitask, and maintain a calm demeanor in high‑stress situations. Demonstrate personal responsibility, integrity, and initiative with a sensitivity to cultural diversity.
Functional Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish a plus).
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, clients, and external contacts.
Ability to handle sensitive material with the highest level of confidentiality and sound judgment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean 3‑year MVR.
Mobility sufficient to conduct regular duties within a normal office environment.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds in order to safely manage office supplies and equipment.
