Lending Operations Analyst II

The Lending Operations Analyst II, as a member of the Operations Team that supports processing for all bank portfolio loans, performs a wide variety of bank operational duties in a high impact and deadline-driven environment. The role is a leadership position within the Lending Operations Analysis Department and acts as a liaison between lending functions and operations. The Analyst provides project management leadership for loan development projects and participates in communications and compliance efforts. Responsibilities
Act as a resource and/or liaison for problem solving regarding all loan operational, procedural, training, and logistical issues. Ensure all departmental documents and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; complete required compliance training. Serve as the unit’s project manager to ensure timely and effective implementation of changes in the unit. Lead large projects as the unit’s analyst to ensure work meets business process needs, internal development standards, and delivery expectations. Collaborate with loan operations managers and supervisors on workload delegation to ensure timely and efficient workflow; review work in progress for accuracy and timeliness; communicate issues to management; recommend process improvements. Perform special projects as assigned. Receive and handle inquiries from employees and stakeholders, resolving problems. Collaborate with management as the designated subject matter expert (SME) for the unit; demonstrate mastery of most job processes within the operational unit. Train Analyst I on the unit’s primary toolsets (Lending Information Systems) as assigned and act as SME on these systems. Maintain detailed records on all work responsibilities as required. Perform assigned special projects and other duties as assigned. Monitor department performance on delivery, SLA, and production trends; identify issues and develop solutions or standards to mitigate them. Serve as SME on key lending systems (LendingCycle, LoanVantage, DecisionPro, LaserPro, Teslar, Credit Lens, LenderLink). Provide guidance and training on system functionality, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with IT and vendor partners to support system enhancements and align with operational needs. Qualifications

Ability to multi-task in a team environment with strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent telephone and customer service skills. Specific loan operations knowledge required. Education and Experience
Some college/university experience or an Associate Degree preferred. Seven or more years of related experience required; banking operations and/or customer service experience preferred. At least one year of experience developing solutions and/or administering unit-related software (Lending Information Systems). Computer skills: MS Office; experience with Lending Information Systems (Origination, Portfolio Management, and/or Servicing), including LendingCycle, LoanVantage, DecisionPro, LaserPro, Teslar, Credit Lens, LenderLink. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations and other Bank operational policies. Excellent understanding of front-to-back process workflow and the impact on downstream processes.
