Direct Support Provider - $20-$25/hr – Weekly Pay
Maxim Healthcare Services in Oakland is hiring a Direct Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities
Provide one‑to‑one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
Assist with daily program activities in self‑help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavioral domains, including crisis intervention
Support clients with personal care activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation, dressing, and ambulation as needed
Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the behavior support plan

Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred previous experience in an educational or healthcare setting
At least one year of experience working with children or adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
Preferred college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, or a related field
Current in‑person CPR/First Aid certification for adults and children
Updated TB test
Must be at least 18 years of age
