Brake Press Operator

Responsibilities: Adhere to safety policies and proactively identify safety improvements. Setup, adjust, and operate all sizes of brake presses, including specialized equipment such as Fiber Laser, TruPunch, TruBend Robotic Bend Cell, and Pemserter. Use the computer system to access work instructions and control plans for quality check intervals. Distinguish between different material types like Aluminum, Cold Rolled, Stainless Steel, and Galvanized. Perform other duties in other areas of the facility when workload dictates. Essential Skills: Familiarity with blueprint reading, press brake, and punch press operations. Effective use of measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, checking fixtures, height gauge, and other various measurement tools to ensure quality of parts. Basic math skills to calculate precise dimensions needed to make a quality part. Ability to follow directions and established processes consistently. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience is not required, but a willingness and motivation to learn are essential. Self-starter, motivated to learn new equipment, coachable, and dependable with good attendance. Ability to meet performance standards and expectations of assigned work or daily tasks. Ability to learn and understand blueprints and comprehend work center dispatch assignments. Why Work Here?
