Maintenance Lead
We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance of building and plant equipment, working closely with management to set priorities. The ideal candidate will assist the production team with setups and changeovers, execute a preventative maintenance schedule, and support operations as needed to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Responsibilities: Assist the production team with setups and changeovers, providing operational support as needed. Execute a preventative maintenance schedule for machines and facilities equipment using Fiix CMMS. Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize production interference and maximize uptime. Use preventative maintenance techniques to diagnose issues and detect potential malfunctions. Install new or repaired parts according to specifications and blueprints. Maintain detailed records of machine issues and maintenance activities using CMMS. Respond promptly to production line calls, resolving issues swiftly and communicating progress to supervisors. Perform skilled assembly, repairs, and maintenance using hand and power tools, hydraulic presses, shears, and welding equipment. Follow food safety and quality production standards according to GMP, CFR, and regulations from OSHA, FDA, and EPA. Comply with all safety and quality regulations, reporting issues immediately to supervisors. Report food safety problems to supervisors or the SQF Practitioner when observed. Additional Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of maintenance experience, ideally with GMP. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities. Why Work Here?
