Our rapidly-expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Responsibilities
Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, continuing education, and monitor insurance portfolios to ensure mutual satisfaction
Attend training and obtain relevant licenses in a timely manner
Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business
Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current
Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies
Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims
Qualifications
Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently
Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships (i.e., “People Person”) and a sincere desire to help others
Client service experience as a sales representative a plus
Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
Compensation $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
