What You’ll Tackle This is a hands-on, growth-focused role where you’ll be the driving force behind eShepherd’s expansion. You’ll build relationships, uncover opportunities, and turn interest into action.

You’ll combine strategic thinking and tactical execution to:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the US

Build a strong pipeline and convert leads into loyal customers

Tailor the eShepherd value proposition to meet each producer’s unique needs

Lead product demos, negotiations, and contract closures

Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to deliver an exceptional experience from first contact to long-term adoption

What You’re Made Of You’re energized by technology, inspired by agriculture, and driven to make a real impact. You don’t wait for direction - you spot opportunities and run with them.

CRM and enterprise software (SAP preferred) are the tech backbone of our innovation - fluency is essential, and ag knowledge is non-negotiable. Bonus points if you understand the dynamics and challenges within federal agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service.

You also bring:

A solid understanding of agriculture, with a strong background in livestock and ranch management

Sales experience in a solution-focused environment

A start-up mindset – even better if you’ve worked in a start-up business environment before

Emotional intelligence and relationship-building savvy

Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset

Comfort working independently, remotely, and on the road (expect regular travel - up to 60-70% of the time)

5+ years of experience in strategic sales or business development, ideally within the agri-sector

Either a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience (e.g. 10+ years selling to livestock producers)
